Auzqui Signs with OHiggins

OHiggins, a Chilean Primera División club, has announced the signing of Carlos Daniel Auzqui, a 33-year-old Argentine winger. Auzqui, known for his speed and dribbling skills, has previously played for several clubs in Argentina, Italy, and Spain.

Auzqui was born in Longchamps, Argentina, on March 16, 1991. He began his professional career with Estudiantes de La Plata in 2010. After making a name for himself in Argentina, he moved to Italy in 2013 and signed with Palermo. He spent the next four seasons in Italy, playing for Palermo, Sampdoria, and Torino.

In 2017, Auzqui moved to FC Barcelona in Spain, but he was loaned out to River Plate in Argentina for the 2017-18 season. He returned to FC Barcelona for the 2018-19 season, but only made a few appearances for the club. In 2019, he was loaned out to Girona in Spain and then to Atlético Nacional in Colombia.

Auzqui signed with OHiggins on February 12, 2022. He is expected to play a key role in OHiggins' attack as the club looks to challenge for the Primera División title this season.
