The Acolyte is coming to Disney on June 4th, and the first trailer has just been released. The series is set in the High Republic era, centuries before the events of the Skywalker saga, and follows the story of a young acolyte named Acolyte who discovers a dark secret that could threaten the galaxy. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the series' stunning visuals, exciting action sequences, and complex characters. It also features a number of Easter eggs and references to other Star Wars movies and TV shows.

The Acolyte has been in development for several years, and it's clear that Lucasfilm has put a lot of care into the series.
